Buyer, Sourcing (Electronics)
Responsibilities
¡ñ Take over electronics related materials sourcing
¡ñ Co-operate internally of electronics group and take over related materials sourcing, and work with R&D, Material and QA departments together
¡ñ Develop and audit vendors with potentials periodically and submit qualified samples to R&D for new product
¡ñ Responsible for negotiation of all materials of electronics group, including tooling and unit price, and submit the report to management for approval before updates in BOS system
¡ñ Provide estimated price for new project materials based on engineering data
¡ñ Trace and analyze the market situation of raw materials, and deal with vendors' requests on price up/down accordingly before submit the report to management for approval
¡ñ Control material cost, schedule cost down
¡ñ Keep sourcing lead-free materials to meet RoHS compliances
¡ñ Complete department daily, weekly and monthly reports on time
Requirements
¡ñ College or associate degree above
¡ñ With 2 years of sourcing experience, familiar with electronic materials as well as the market situation of raw materials
¡ñ Above CET-4 or good command of spoken and written English
¡ñ With strong negotiation skills
¡ñ Familiar with logistics and finance workflows
¡ñ Familiar with operation of EXCEL and WORD software
¡ñ CIPS Level4 Diploma or above is an advantage

Uli Behringer, Founder and Chairman of BEHRINGER, shifted the production from Germany to China as early as 1990, way ahead of time. He relocated to HK/China in 1996 to oversee production quality, understand the Chinese culture and later manage the implementation of EUROTEC.
